Roxy Millett is a children’s book creator as well as a non-fiction author and poet. She grew up on a beautiful lake in a small Wisconsin town, with unlimited first-hand adventures in sailing and iceboating, along with car trips, camping and family gatherings. Later, Roxy moved west to the beaches of Southern California, enjoyed a short stint in breathtaking Hawaii, and eventually she put down deep roots in Colorado, in the shadow and majesty of the Rocky Mountains.
Roxy has worked in the airline/travel industry as well as human resources and found joy and inspiration in people and places near and far! She is influenced and energized by family, friends, and life experiences, both mundane and memorable; poignant and challenging; cherished and universal.
She has felt a compelling urge to write since childhood and is excited to share musings and stories with you. Roxy is grateful for all of life’s precious (and difficult) moments and relationships and hopes to extend this wonder and connection through her lens of love and authenticity.
